  1. If they are sticking out a bit, try tweezers.

  2. tweezers

  3. I'd take my mom with tweezers over a Dr. with a scapel any day

  4. tweezers or just let her do it its not all that bad

  5. soak your finger in hot water and wait a few minutes. it helps splinters work their way out, and then gently use tweezers

  6. yes tweezers but i know im like dont do it but let her do it cause it hurts less

  7. well i too am petrified of needles, i would get some drawing salve to draw out the spliters, try to squeeze them out and grab with tweezers..... i have so many splinters, and slivers still in my fingers because i refused to use a needle to "dig" them out,

keeo the area clean and put neosporin on it to avoid infection

  8. Wrap an ice-pack around your finger for 10 minutes and then try the needle, your finger will be cold and numb and it won't hurt as much.

  9. rip your fingers off. I have faith in you

  10. Make a paste of soap (the soft stuff under the bar of soap, and a little sugar - stick it on a plaster and put it on the splinters overnight.

The next day, use sharp tweezers, and you will find they have either come out by themselves, or are very easy.

Try to have a good pair of very sharp surgical tweezers in the house.

If you cannot grip the splinter from the top, go in from the side to open up a flap of skin, and push it out from the side.
