  1. umm yeah its likely when they groom each other its because they are trying to no each other better they might and if they do make sure they dont put at the bottom of your cage

  2. Yes if you are sure that you have a male and a female and they are mature then yes.  The cuddling that they are doing is called preening.  It is what birds that have bonded with each other do.  Your birds are obviously a pair if they are doing this.  However, if eggs are laid on the bottom of the floor of the cage it is very unlikely that it will hatch.  If you want to discourage them from laying just adle the eggs by shaking them vigorously. This way the eggs will not hatch but the hen will tend to them and not lay again increasing the possibilty of egg binding.  If you want to breed them then you need to add a next box to their cage like this one:

About an inch or two of pineshavings and leave them be.

  3. Oh don't worry. It's sad but most of the time their eggs won't hatch and if they do(which is extremely rare) then just take them to the humane society or ask Petco or Petsmart about giving them up to someone. Also you could ask your vet if you actually do get some baby birds! But it's highly unlikely that they will have properly fertilized and incubated eggs.

  4. Hi,

No i don't think that they would be it is highly unusual that a single pair will breed you need at least three pairs as budgies need the noise of a group to spur them on.
