OK, I am doing American School, and I love it, but I have a few questions about it, cause I just started.OK, I have sent off atleast 3 exams and they have not came back yet, it has been atleast 3 weeks, is this normal? Should it be taking that long, and if not, what do you think could be the problem. And second, when do I tell them which electives I want, they never sent me a sheet asking, so how will they know?Thank you for all the answers!!!!!!!!!!

  1. The first exams always take a long time, so that sounds normal. I didn't get my first exam back for nearly 2 months.

You can go online and check your progress, too. You can go to www.americanschoolofcorr.com and log in as a student. You just need your student number. If they haven't sent you your password by mail yet, you can call and they will give it to you.

As for the electives, there should have been a yellow and a green sheet of paper with your credit information and list of electives on the back. Those papers should be in your beginning package (when you get your I.D., envolopes and first two subjects). If you don't have them you or your parent will have to call so they can give you a list.

    Hope this helped :)

Good luck with everything, hope it goes well!

Please ignore Adelaide B. The reason the exams take so long is because of all the students. They have to grade, comment and return each exam by hand. Psychology and Planning Your Career especially take so long because they are the first subjects students take. So they are all trying to get it done at the same time.

  2. The teachers are Unionized which means they don't have to do anything and will still get paid.

After becoming Union it practically takes an act of Congress to fire a teacher which results in them doing basically anything they want without consequences attached.

Before the Teachers Union teachers actually taught and did the job they were paid to do.

    But unfortunately not anymore.

That's why it's taking so long to receive the results to your exam.

  3. First off,  ask a teacher if they know anything about the exams. It sometimes takes a while to get final scores. And you should defiantly go to the school guidance office and let them know you need to choose your electives; they should help you from there!    good luck!
