I remember the last time I saw Bnsf used to pass through the railroad crossings going 1 direction going through S.San pedro st and E Slauson Ave. and more back in 2000. Now eight years pass and I saw no more frieght passing. The rails and cantilever's are still there getting old. Bells starting to rust, Crossbuck starting to get dusty and old and the flashing light's turrned out of sight but I never seem to see the train even at night it still doesnt pass so cans omeone tell me what happened and

2 How do you get a job working as a frieght engineer at BNSF and the requirements to do so.

  1. if you are talking about Los Angeles

a lot of freight now uses the Alameda corridor routing to get the trains from

the train yards to San Perdo, this way they have faster service and less conflict with cars and grade crosssings

that's   probably why you dont see much railroad traffic along Slauson ave anymore (expect for locals freight)

as for employement heres a start

    go this website

    http://bnsf.com/careers/

    good luck!
