I had a original sky box fitted in the upstairs of my house running as a freeview box at the moment. I am aware that the card in my sky plus box works on my original sky box if i insert the card from the sky+ box in it. Would i get it to trouble for changing the card between these two devices in the long run. I would be similar to multiroom i suppose however you would only be able to watch the channels your paying for on one box at a time and multiroom states you can watch two different channels at different times

Basically all i want to know is if you can get into troble by swapping you viewing card with another box in your house. Would they charge you for doing this?

Thanks all for your help

  1. sky one in front . the sky units will recognise it is an other card and not decode the signal. I'm not aware of any way sky would know if you did.    you could always swap the two units round
