  1. Take the dad out of the cage RIGHT NOW!!!!! He will eat the babies!!!! I once had "two boys" but one of them had babies and I watched as one hamster ate babies and the other one fed them. 7 babies lived. You can hold the babies @ 2 weeks old  and sell them When they are about half the size of the mom, have lots of hair, and are moving around in the cage alot. also take any thing with small holes like metal wheels because when the stubborn babies start to move around they are very small. Hope this helps!!!!!

  2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teddy_Bear_...

Here's some info regaring breeding, seems useful.

  3. they can have 1-20 babies...it shoud take like 15 days. you shold remove the male as soon as posible because just like humans the babies don't always come right on time so if she has her babies while the male is there he will kill them. another reason you should take him away as soon as possible is that  he will cause stress to the female.     hope i could help! =]

  4. It takes 16 days from the mating if that was noted, they can any where from 6 to 12 and possibly more.  You should never leave Syrian hamsters together, take him out and keep them separated.
