  1. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q303661/    follow this link

  2. 1.start up with the one you choose to keep.

2.open the local disc where the unwanted OS is installed

3.just delete all the files that belong to the unwanted OS (include windows folder too)

or format the local disc where the files are (if you havent got there any files you wanna keep )

4.yo've done it , but you'll see a OS selection window every time you start your PC , fix it this way:

    5. right click My computer /properties/advanced/Startup and recovery settings - Settings / System Startup    "time to display list of OS" - uncheck it . or  System Startup  - edit and delete the line :

"multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\W... Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect" - the unwanted one. But i recommend the first one if you can't recognise them.

    Good luck

  3. I'm not going to ask why...!

    1. Back-up the Registry and any data you need to keep, including your e-mail data files sub-directory.

    2. Determine which is the active system.

3, Delete the Sub-Directory of the inactive system.

    4. Use the drive cleaner Utility of your choice to clean up the Clutter and Debris.

    5. Use a Registry cleaner if you have one to defragment the registry.

    6. Defragment the drive.

    7. Restart the machine.

    8 Re-Run your drive cleaner.

    9. Re-run your registry cleaner to remove any invalid short cuts, obsolete date references, invalid locations, et. cetra.

    10. Compress and Back-up the registry, restore any data you need to restore.

    11. Restart the machine.

Good luck it should take you about 15 minutes.
