Robert H is wrong. Sorry to say that. Though Rochester carbs are one of the hardest to maintain I admit. But when properly tuned they were one of the best working carbs on the market. In there days. Normal CFM flow on one was 650. I had one on each of my race cars and each one performed flawlessly. Depending on there condition they are worth anywhere from $50 to $100.

Get rid of the junk and get a couple of good Holleys. Quadrajets were made by both Rodchester and Carter. They were sorry when they were new.

Hello,first of all are they marine carbs or for the autos,trucks,etc.I totally disagree with the gentleman that said get a holley(holley makes a qaudrajet)and it's like anything else it depends on how they are maintained.Personally I have a qaudrajet on my 86 GMC K1500 truck that is the factory one the truck has 170,000 miles on it with a new 383 stroker motor and it makes all the power I want.(dynoed 361 hp,thanks quadrajet as it supplied plenty of fuel all through the rpm range,now my carb has had a few tricks done to it but it's still the same as when the truck was new and will turn all four tires smoking when you nail it from a dead in four wheel drive and will bark the tires when it hits second gear in two or four wheel drive)And you don't have to play with floats and all that c**p like a holley.I would suggest you contact some of the on-line carb builders and see if they are intersted

Depending on the flow rate, a standard "Quadrajunk" carb is worth anywhere from $20 to $200.  A modified carb for drag or NASCAR will/can pull down as much as $600.  Sounds like you have a standard flow quad, so ask $50 on Craigslist and see what response you get.  Face it, $100 in the pocket is worth more than 2 "Rocks" in the closet.
