I have unsubscribed via the group site, but I am still receiving emails from that group.?

Question

I used to belong to a yahoo group, went to the group site and clicked leave group and I verfied that I no longer belong to the group. I have went back to the site and each time it tells me to Join the group. I am still getting emails from the group though. I have tried to reply to the group to ask to be removed, but since I am no longer a member, it gets bounced back. How can I stop from getting emails from this group?

Yahoo said they fixed this unsubscribe issue- and stated to those who still experience it to report it

right now or real soon, Yahoo is doing maintainance, which could effect this. you probably are going to have to wait this out.

You should probably email the group's owner to ask that question.  It's possible it takes a few days to get processed too.
