I have very pointy ears like a (elf)?

My mom has only 1 pointy ear why come both of mines are very pointy.Not sure about my dad though *only saw him once in my life*so what caused my ears to be pointy i'm not irish and i'm not short

I have one word for you: genetics. You received the genes that give you pointy ears, deal with it. It's not a big mystery.

Sorry, but I don't understand your question, really. You might want to try again (leaving out the Leprechaun reference, which just muddies things), but give some hint as to what it is you don't get.

People vary. One fairly uncommon such variation results in more "pointy" ears than most people have. You inherited this from your mother, and possibly from both of your parents (even if your father's ears aren't pointy, he might still carry a recessive "pointy-ear" gene).

What is it you don't get, exactly?
