i have vip622 dvr, i would like to transfer recorded program from the dvr to a hd. how can i do it via LAN? I dont have any M-F USB cable

  1. The 622 has a 2.0 usb drive on it.  You can hook it up to an external hard drive and transfer your programs to it.  You do have to call dish and have them activate the external hard drive.  I think it's around $40.
