I have vizio lcd 42'' has " SUNLIKE...

the tv is 16 months old only.and was working well then when I wanted to change the channel ,the screen became " sunnylike" with vertical lines "rays like"you can not change the channel no picture.I called vizio and it was disappointing ..to pay for repair nearly 400$ for something which costs 760$ ...
