  1. Either a camp or get a group of friends or ppl to help you..practice playing a game, learn to do sets, bumps and everything needed. keep practicing till you get to your best.

  2. Go to a camp if you can.

If you do not have a volleyball, buy one.  If you have a friend to work out with, it is much better.

You want to practice your passing, setting, and serving with your friend.  If you do not have access to a gym, you can mark off 30 feet and find something at least 7 1/2 feet high to put in your path to serve over.  (8 foot high would be even better to leave a margin for error.)  With no gym, a simple pepper with your friend would be great.  If your friend is not a volleyball player, get them to catch the ball and toss it to you.

Mark off 10 feet so that you can practice your foot work.  You do not need a gym, but it would be nice.  You want to make sure you have a "net" marked off.  If you hit the net, you need to move your approach back one foot.  You should do your approach full speed.  Land and get back to your starting area as fast as you can and do the approach again.  You should try to do 10 approaches as fast as you can.  Take about 1 minute off and repeat.  You should try for at least 100 approaches every day.  When you get to the tryouts, your feet will not have any problems with the spiking approach.  If you do not have access to a gym, your spiking timing will have a problem.  But at least, you will not have a problem with your timing AND your feet.

  3. Local camps, also camps at colleges are extremly good to look into. Nike camps are really good too. Also, get into shape, run 24/7. if you show up and your panting you mught be cute!!

  4. NOW THAT  IT'S JULY YOU SHOULD START TO GET READY AND DO A LOT OF RUNNING SO YOUR IN SHAPE AND REMEMBER TO PRACTICE BUMPING, SETTING, SERVING(BOTH WAYS), BLOCKS, ETC.

  5. well, i also have tryouts in august, i have a whole workout schedule i do. You should lift some weights to get your arm strength up so when you spike it  it is alot harder to return. You should also work on your leg muscles by running or lifting , when you have strong legs you can jump a whole lot higher and it improves you agility. Basically just keep in great shape so the coach sees that you worked hard all summer and sees how much your strength and game have approved.

  6. go to a camp if possible

practice outside against a wall or with a partner

GET CONDITIONED!! lots of people question why you need conditioning for volleyball...well you do!!!

    good luck =D
