I have wax on my carpet and I need the best way to remove it.?

How can you get wax out of a carpet floor?

put a pile of ice cubes on it.when the wax gets cold it shrinks and will release.heat might make things worse!

Put a paper bag down on top of it and iron over top of the bag.  It picks it up.

I did this after a wedding and the candles dripped all over the carpet of the church.

I actually saw this on TV a few weeks ago. Chip off as much of the wax as you can. Then lay a paper (not plastic) bag over the spot. Then take a warm iron it and put it to the paper bag. the wax should melt and the paper bag should obsorb the melted wax. Good Luck!

First heat up your iron and lay down two paper towels folded in half - set the iron on a steam setting and go over the spot several times and you will see the paper towel becoming discolored! In about two minutes with continuous strokes with the steamy iron your wax will be removed from the carpet!
