I have well water and its very hard water and i'm filling my swimming pool up with it i need to know what to

my water is a rusty look to it when i put bleach in it thats what happens

i work at a pool store and when you add your water from now on get a filter that will thread on to the end of your garden hose to help catch some of the minerals that comes from the water you are filling with or tie a bunch of old socks to the end of your garden hose to do the same. add a sequestering agent to the water as you're filling and add it weekly as a preventative maitenence. bleach should only affect your chlorine.

well, the best thing you can do is to keep adding the pool chlorine and other chemicals. It will take a while to change it's colour, but trust me it will work. so if i were you i would add the water in a bit earlier, so you have enough time to get it in a clear consistency.

you need to pre filter the water....they have a device which fits on your hose  that pre filters the water...

Try adding some chlorine to your well.  Let the chlorine stay in the well for a couple of hours then pump it out through an outside faucet.  Do this a couple of times to clean the well.  Iron Algae is often a problem in water wells and this will help to kill the algae and clean your well.  This may help the iron problem without pumping it to the pool.
