  1. Keep running the garden hose so you don't fill up the septic, it will run out sooner or later, and then run everything in the house to clear the inside lines, use a clear glass and fill it and let it settle for 20 mins and check the bottom of the glass.

  2. You seem to have an infestation of iron algae fungus.  If you make tea and it is really dark it practically assures that you do.  If so you will find a major build up is the storage tank.  If this is true you can clean the tank.  The tank as to be dis-connected from the system,  Put maybe a gallon of  small smooth pebbles with a couple gallons of water and rool the tank to dislodge the unwanted build up.  Use the same rocks but clean water and do this several times.  To prevent another buildup the chemical feed should be on the inlet side of the tank.

  3. You will just have to keep on pumping till it clears. Thats what I had to do.

  4. You most likely have iron water in your well.  Iron water is orange looking  color.    You will need a well water iron filter.

    Good Luck

  5. if you take a clear glass of your well water and let it settle overnight and it has settlement in the bottom of glass in the morning this orange color may be mud which can eliminated by pulling your pump up in your wellhouse & placing a brick or block spacing between pump & well casing you can check your well & water depth by tying a large weight onto long rope when the rope bottoms out this is well depth quickly pull rope out when the wet rope starts this how deep your water is roughly .
