  1. seprate whites, pants-jeans, shirts, colored...

and also separate linted shirts, jeans, ETC.

nd u cud also buy a lint roller and just roll it on ur clothes and it takes out the link. its called a lint roller or those dog things that clean fur do well too

    good luck!

  2. Turn things inside out

  3. Remove the agitator - that's where link collects. Clean it off.

Then always do darks separate from whites.

If you wash white towels and fuzzy things with darks, that's where you'll have problems.

  4. clean out the lint tray

  5. Do you get the lint in the wash or in the dryer?   If the wash, could be the lint in the agitator (the thing that spins to move the laundry around).  Most of them can just be pulled straight up and the tube comes off---clean the c**p out of the inside and put it back.  Also, are you sure you haven't left kleenex tissues in pockets?  Plus check for lint in pockets.  If lint is coming from dryer, it is probably because the lint trap needs to be cleaned out.   Also, use your vacuum cleaner to vacuum your dryer around the vent on the inside of the drum.  If you still get lint after all this, you may have to take your dryer exhaust tube off and make sure lint hasn't collected and been unable to get loose.

By the way, keeping dryer clear of lint is really important--a fireman once told me that lint fires in dryers is one of the most common causes of house fires.

  6. Run your machine empty with a cup of vinegar in it and then start using a cup of vinegar in your rinse cycle. Vinegar will almost eliminate lint.
