  1. Yes very much so.Its like a piece of string tied from the A side and it has to connect to the B side to be useful/work

  2. YUP I am doing it with my XBOX right now unless you are really close to a computer with it.

  3. I dont think you do. Try out Xbox live and if it works then you dont need one but if it doesnt work go buy one. Im sorry i can help anymore than this but thats all i can think of.

  4. Well, it depends on you actually. If you have the wireless router in the same room as your xbox, i would rather advise you to whip up an ethernet cable between the two and that should get you going. However, if there is some considerable distance between those two, a wireless adapter comes into play. I don't know if linksys has new versions of their wireless adapters for game consoles, been a long time since i worked as a techsupport for them, really.

  5. Yes, you do.

But as the person said, if you can use a direct cable, do so. 'Tis cheaper and more reliable.

  6. yes, xbox doesn't have wi-fi capabilities without the adapter. If you're router is in close proximity to you're console, I would just get an ethernet cable.

  7. YES unless you want a wired connection

  8. no you don't just plug in the ethernet cable into the back of the wireless router. Then you should be fine ; )

  9. well if u wana drop 100 bux, yeah. if you dont, you can just plug an ethernet cord into your xbox and bada bing

  10. Yes, it cost around $100.

You also need a subscription which also costs $$$$

  11. yep. its 100 bucks to :(
