There's a couple of things that could be wrong: 1) click on view, then toolbar, check to see if Yahoo toolbar has a dark check beside it, if there isn't  click on it.  2) If there is a light check beside it you'll need to check the Manage Add-ons, you need to click on Tools, go down and click on Manage Add-ons, then check to see of Yahoo toolbar has been disabled, if so re-enable it.
