  2. RO systems are great for cleaning up municipal treated water. The charcoal filter is key, because it removes the chlorine and chloramines from treated water, and also lowers PPMs of other c**p in tap water.

    Spectrapure, and HydroLogic RO systems have been used in my industry (hydroponics...not the dark side of it) with great success for purifying water.
