Question:

I haven't been able to get to sleep for a few weeks now...?

I don't know what to do. I can only get to sleep if I stay up late. I've tried other things like exercise or drinking warm milk but it doesn't seem to work. It's really getting me down and I don't know what's wrong with me.

Please help me.

  1. Dont exercise right before bed!  Don't watch tv or read for an hour before you go to bed, this stimulates the brain and keeps you awake.  Also, dont sit under much lighting for an hour or two before bed, this will help with the chemical aspect of things in the brain.

    Also before bed, do some relaxing breathing exercises and possible personal massage exercises that help you sleep.  You can find these on the internet.  Search under Reflexology to get that info.

    Not to be gross, but if you'll m********e 30-45 min. before bed it could help you sleep too.  


  2. Me too. Are you nervous about something? Maybe talking to someone will help.

    Or you could just have plain ol' insomnia.
