Question:

I haven't had a period in about 3 years, now i've had spotting for a week and a half- whats wrong with me?

im 21 and started my periods when i was 10- they were really heavy until i was 16 then stopped, then came back for a while then stopped again- the doctor said it was probably just stress that made them go away and i shouldnt worry but last week i started 'spotting' and now i'm worried this 'mini' period is never going to stop!!! it isnt heavy but whats wrong with me- the doc will just tell me 'not to worry' again!

  1. Go back to the doctor and if he tells you not to worry go get a second opinion.

    Are you on the birth control pill or some other birth control? If so, this could be causing the irregularities.

    If not, you may consider talking to your doctor about taking the pill to help regulate your periods again.

  2. my sister started hers when she was 12 , but becouse she didnt eat well  hers stoped n she didnt get them till she was like 14-15 i got mine when i was 12 and still ahve them ,i eat more sensible than my sisteri didnt make the mistake she did , if ur not eating corectly ,that can be the cause ,u need to see the doctor to at least see if ur ok xxxxxxxxplz take care x

  3. take a pregnancy test. my sister didnt have a period for 2 years then  she ovulated and was going to get her period, had some spotting i made her take a test,..... the egg was fertilized so....shes 7 1/2 months now.
