I'm a senior in hs. Im the quiet, i guess you could say introverted anti-social type. I seriously don't know if it's me or the people around me, but I've never found someone i can completely click with. I think a lot of the people in h.s. act and are ridiculous. I feel more mature than them. A lot of people in high school I don't like. How can i change that???

Ive never hung out with a group of friends outside of school b/c i simply dont have any.

People say if you want friends, go out and get it, but i seriously don't know how, if i dont like many of the people at my h.s. My family just doesn't understand. What can i do? I'm a SENIOR and i want to make it memorable.

  1. It is ok to be who you are.  College and work are different than high school.  You will likely meet people in those areas.  If you want to make it memorable in your senior year talk to your high school counselor about planning activities you can get involved in that are geared to graduation.  There should be several activities.  Also, just participate in going to some of the sports, dances , etc, as "this is the last opportunity for me to do this as a high school student"  and enjoy just being there as an experience.  Congratulations!  I wish you serenity

  2. One day, if you see someone that looks like they need help with something, go up and help them. You might start up a "friendship" there. You can also try making friends outside your own school. Get a pet, especially a dog, if people know you have one, it's a great conversation starter
