I haven't ovulated this month???

I was supposed to ovulate over the last 6 days ending yesterday but I didn't and I always ovulate right on time every single month and have very regular periods to the exact day each time. My partner and I had s*x on what was supposed to be day 1 of my ovulating which neither of us realized because my cm was basically non existent apposed to how it normally is (alot of egg white cm). But we haven't done it since and I only just realized that I haven't ovulated.

I have no signs of being pregnant apart from the fact that I've been bloated which usually only happens when Im about to get my period.

Why could this be?

  1. You need to do what I do.  You need to chart your waking temperature on www.fertilityfriend.com (it's free) and use Ovulation Predictor Tests.  I thought because I have a 28 day cycle, I would ovulate on day 14, turns out from charting I ovulate anywhere from day 17 - 19!

If you take yr temp properly, there will be a rise at somepoint which will probably indicate ovulation.

I will attach a link for you to look at.

  2. You may have ovulated, but just later in your cycle than anticipated. I would keep checking CM. Your bloating could be a sign of ovulation, or if you didn't ovulate, a sign that your period is about to begin.

Any type of lifestyle change (diet, exercise, weight, sleep, etc) can throw off your cycles.

  3. Yes you should sign up at http://www.fertilityfriend,com which will be really helpful and explain everything you need to know. CM is not always a reliable indicator; the only thing that can tell you for sure if your temperatures. It's not complicated and after a while, it's second nature. I'd say that's a great place to start. Good luck!
