  1. Hold a Coronation next year, proclaiming yourself whatever you like.

May the stoned heads of Europe show their support!

  2. There was a Charles J. King in Camden, New Jersey who enlisted during World War II as a private in 1942.  He was born on 30 May 1918 in New Jersey.  He was unmarried at the time of enlistment.

He rose to the rank of corporal in the army.

He died on 18 Jun 2001 and is buried at St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane 609-396-6741 Trenton, NJ 08610.

I don't know whether this is YOUR Charles John King or not, but he is the only Charles J. King listed on Ancestry.com.

  3. The surname "King" originated from the Old English "cyning,"originally meaning "tribal leader." This nickname was commonly bestowed on a man who carried himself like royalty, or who played the part of the king in a medieval pageant. Occasionally, the name was given to a man who served in a royal household. The surname "King" does not necessarily mean you have "royal-blood." None of the modern day monarchs have the surname "King" and yet they are all descendants from a royal house.

If you need to search for your biological parents, you should try contacting the adoption agency, or find out where you were adopted. Posting a search in your local/national newspaper would help too, or pick up your local/national phone book and go from there. Try an Internet search for your surname, and see if someone else in your family have created a family tree.

Note: Try contacting the Subic Bay Naval Base, and see if they could find any records of your parents, maybe they could track down a distant relative or knew someone who knew them.

  4. You should try ancestory.com i think thts how you spell it

  5. You are related to Juan Tamad, Inday Kikay, & Bakla Bading Baduy from the Kingdoms of Muntinlupa, Mandaluyong, & Baklaran!

You are also related to GMA who lives at Malacanang Palace

and Imelda "the shoe lady" Marcos and a cousin, (twice removed) of Cory Aquino!

Your great uncle is General/President Fidel Ramos.

  6. Oh... First of all, that's Filipino not Fipino.  Subic bay Naval Base, was your birthplace so you are a Filipino just like me. You also spelled Baggio wrong it's spelled as Baguio. You were born I guess during the Marcos Regime. Here in the Philippines you can try to check NSO or National Statistics Offices somewhere in the Subic area in particular.

  7. Go to the nearest mall and look for someone wearing ermine and a crown.

  8. Sorry for the maybe stupid question, but does having the last name "King" anything to do with being of Royal blood....? Maybe I misread something in your question.

If you have that much information, I think it is probably best to get in touch with a proper researcher in Genealogy. Finding your own ancestors in a different country with that much of a "difficult" background to trace (moving, adoptions etc.), I think your chances stand best to find somebody the "official" way. Researching yourself usually works alright in your own country, if you have very, very concrete information or have a very unusual family history / family name. "King" is a very common name, so looking for "a King family from New Jersey" on your own, I´m afraid, won´t get you far.

Professional genealogists are not as expensive as most people think, simply contact a good handful and see how much you´d be running to. Good Luck. :)
