I havent passed mathematics .so can i give nios(national open schooling)and do a.e or not?

i have secured above 80 in all subjects except mathematics.and i have a great desire to study A.E as i have a keen interest in aircraft and space.so,i want to know whether i can do that or not?will aesi allow me to do A.E if i pass nios(national institute of open schooling)
