  1. take a shoe, follow the noise, when you see the creature squash it with your hand, then wipe it clean with the shoe LOL

  2. They usually are hiding near the floor near to the wall or under a piece of clothing.  They don't usually cause any harm in the house and aren't able to breed inside.    I have found them in my laundry room and basement.  They start coming in when the weather starts to get cool. They are starting to look for a place to stay warm during the winter months.  You can probably go near to where you hear the noise and it will stop chirping for a second then when it starts up a few seconds later you can usually pin point it's location.  Catch it in a jar and take it back outside or they have these cute little bug boxes at the dollar store and you can put it in there and keep it for a pet. I hear they are considered good luck in China.  Considering the Olympics are going on there you don't want to smash it until after those are over.  My cat thinks they are delicious and fun to play with.  Do you own a cat?

  3. Get a stale piece of bread and put peanut-butter, honey, sugar, salt, and some sort of poison, like hydrogen peroxide or chlorine on it. Mix it together, and put it under a little box with a nickle sized hole cut in the side. Put it somewhere where he can reach it. Then let it be. He should either find it and get stuck there, find it eat it and die, or find it and stay.

  4. Don't kill him!!! Just catch him and put him outiside where you can live seperate peaceful lives.

  5. make popcorn and set it on the floor. healljumpp in it

  6. They bring good luck unless you kill them so if you catch it, just release it  outside and you'll be fine. Give it a few minutes and it will come out, they don't hide very well.

  7. just wait until it starves to death shouldnt take longer than a week

  8. aww dont kill it put it outside.

  9. keep listening and pinpoint its location, remember it may be moving too.It will likely be against the wall or behind a chair or some place out of the way. When you locate it don't kill it just scoop it up in your hand and toss it outside. If you don't want to pick it up,scoop it up in a cup or something. It won't bite or pee on you or hurt you in anyway. It will just tickle your palm. And I know they are ugly!!

  10. Turn the lights out and get really quiet.  You'll be able to locate it if you get rid of other noises.  You also might try putting on a nightlight only in the room--often they will come to light....I will tell you this---I grew up in the country and this happened at our house ALL the time in the summer--it can be very annoying, but if you persist, you WILL find the critter!  Good luck!!

  11. listen, make sure he's not in your walls, but please don't kill him! let him out in your yard. if not, i hope you don't find him

  12. Are you sure it's a cricket.  For the longest time me and my girlfriend thought that there was a cricket loose in her apartment.  It was only when we checked the smoke alarm that we realized it needed a new battery and makes cricket sounds.

  13. Are you sure it's in your room and not outside?

You'd have to be real quiet and listen attentively.

  14. Crickets are supposed to bring good luck.  The cricket won't hurt you.  They don't bite or anything.  Why not just leave it alone?

  15. Honestly, I have no idea. I have to say though, I have crickets in my room as well. My room is part of the garage (we built rooms in it) and there are all kinds of bugs because it is the garage. They're quite annoying, huh?
