I hear a lot of fans saying James Milner is way overrated........?

Well, a lot of Newcastle things are delighted and think we have been mugged!!! I have always thought James is a great young player but when you look at the stats and observations being speculated on here he looks terrible!!! I have seen many say he only got 2 assists last season and has only scored 8 in 4 years! Also people say his crossing is terrible!!!!! Is any of this actually true?

When he was here 3 years ago he was brilliant, and it would make sense that he has only improved since then so please can you tell me what you make of all this(with a bit of perspective!)

Anyone with Milners workrate and ball striking ability has got to be a good acquisition for a club.

And he's still improving.

He is an outstanding player with a terrific work rate and yes some of his crossings are a bit flat but at least he gets into the positions to play them in the first place.

Newcastle have been well and truly mugged ( again ) by selling him for a mere £12 million, an obscene amount to me but in the unreal world of football values, a real snip.

Good workrate but cant cross a ball to save himself and seeing that he is a winger that makes him rubbish in my eyes.
