I hear my parents have s*x !?

its so gross. i hear them all the time i remember the first time i heard them i was in like 6th grade and i'm in 9th now and i still hear them. it makes me wanna throw up and it actually kinda pisses me off cause like I'm in the house ! aren't they smart enough to do it when I'm gone? its disgusting and i have nobody to talk to about it. my older sister definitely knows that they do it too, but neither of us want to say anything. its so gross and makes me sick, HELP !

I can understand your feelings of unease, since you are not used to it, or you should be by now. It means mom and dad are gonna be together for a while. I will tell you headphones if it bothers you to that point. I would ignore it cause sooner or later your time will come. We see things differently at our house. We have been married a healthy ten years.

Your right, why would they have the nerve to have s*x in the home they bought and live in?!? Although they should try to keep it a little more quiet, its going to happen and its a good thing, a sign of a healthy marriage. Just turn the tv up or listen to music or something!

I'm a mom and yes, a mom that has s*x with the man I love. We moved to this new house and, unfortunately, the soundproofing wasn't what we though it would be.  Well, one day, both my sons came to me and said they needed to talk to me. They were very serious looking and I was concerned that something really bad had happened. We went into the kitchen and sat down and my oldest son, who is in the 9th grade also, said, "mom, we love you but we are tired of hearing you." I didn't understand what on earth he was talking about so I asked him to explain himself to me. His face turned 20 shades of red and my youngest son kept biting his lips.  Finally, after a few awkward moments of silence, my oldest son looked at me and said  " We hear you guys doing it and we just don't want to hear it"  I was SOOOOOO embarrassed. Never did I want my children to see or hear this, ever. But I was proud of them for telling me how uncomfortable they were and I do try to keep things down to a bare minimum. Sometimes it isn't always easy but at least it isn't like it was before. So, my advice to you is this, both of you girls need to take your mom aside and just explain it to her. I am sure she will be understanding in the situation, and embarrased as well, but it is better that she is aware. She won't be mad at you, even though it is their house and they pay the mortgage. You do live there, too, and shouldn't be uncomfortable.

I'm pretty sure they don't want you to hear them either.  Why don't you tell Mom you are able to hear everything.  I'll bet she does something about it as soon as she can.

Ugh! My parents are divorced but I have heard my boyfriends parents and it was the most uncomfortable feeling ever!!

Also, my brothers room is next door and I've heard his girlfriend before. It makes you cringe doesn't it???

Sleep as far away from them as you can to avoid it. You can't ask your parents not to do it, that's just wrong...Have sleep overs in your basement with your sister or something. Drop small hints like that to your parents and maybe they'll catch on that you two are trying to avoid them at night!

Sorry, to tell you this, but it's their house, so they can do whatever they want in it.  I'm sure you're not paying the mortgage, are you?  Second of all, what's wrong with them having s*x?  What's so gross about it?  You do realize that they have probably had s*x over a thousand times in their lives.  You do realize that they had to have s*x to have you and your sister.  I also hope you realize that s*x is a beautiful and natural thing, especially when it done with two people in love.  Count your blessings, and be happy your parents have s*x with each other, rather than with other people and eventually have a divorce.
