  1. I think that certain members of the Government should be made to come and work fulltime on our Dairy Farm and run it for a month. I bet they wouldn't last a week and they would see what they have done to British farming!

  2. Nice one!

Certainly, they often put there feet in their mouths but David Cameron is "learning very quickly!"

We should rethink our elected leadership. Have far fewer, much better paid, much better qualified representatives.

Why better paid? - I can almost hear you ask!

If we are to attract the best leaders - which we need (as they control gigantic resources) then they will need to be paid at rates to tempt the best from our professions, industry and elsewhere (and at a relatively early age! - before they are "knackered" and "in a rut")

    Why fewer representatives?

If they were superior to the present bunch, contracted to do a really full-time job, given meaningful incentives and were to cost no more than the present "shower" we would all benefit.

Then we have to very carefully elect an upper house of "whistle blowers" to control the inevitable excesses of such a new elite. Are you with me or against me so far?

To answer the original question - put them down (humanely!) and breed a much smaller pedigree herd.

  3. Hi

I personally feel that too many jokes are made bout foot and mouth disease. Put yourself in the position of farmers faced with the prospect of ruin by this disease and already this year their crops have been ruined by floods. There are ones that laugh and make light of this serious event, but when houses are flooded it is sympathy. I feel sorry for anyone caught in this terrible ordeal. When industrial businesses are lost we all feel the pinch, how much more when agriculture suffers. We all pay for it, as meat etc gets more expensive. Don't laugh.

  4. I think, before they are infected they should get vaccinated. In serious case when infection is already invading the organism, it must not spread further, so the cattle should be executed and therefore burned.

  5. to be totally humane

    shoot 'em

  6. dont you mean foot in mouth disease

  7. I smell a tory

  8. If you were travelling in the Lake district during the last outbreak you would not think this garbage funny. The whole place smelled like flame grilled burger. Try living with the smell for days on end and come back and tell me it's funny.

  9. put down

  10. I believe that in the past lots of tory boys have caught foot in the mouth disease and even orange in the mouth and a pair of tights disease. Should they be put down?
