  1. Any advertised salary will be before any deductions [tax/natioanl insurance/student loan deductions etc]. However, you wouldn't have 40% deducted from the whole salary! Don't forget you have the tax free amount and then the 20% tax before 40%.


  2. That would be before tax. Salaries are never advertised after tax as everyone's tax is individual.

  3. Depends on the particular dentist surely...what an odd question
