I heard Exxon Mobile, was selling out. Should I sell my stock (XOM) or keep it?

  1. They're not "selling out" their company or anything.  They are selling their ownership of gas stations.  It is a low-profitability unit for them, so they are selling it off.  In terms of your stock ownership, its probably a good thing.  It should make their balance sheet and income statements look better, which is always a plus for a stock.


  2. no they are just doing the right thing to get their non-profiting segment out of the way.
