I heard about that crazy/creepy bus story in Canada and now I'm scared to sleep. I don't usually get affected by these kinds of things but I already couldn't go to sleep two nights ago after watching "American Psycho".

Do you have tips on distracting my mind?

  1. Read, watch TV or listen to music before bed. Dont let it get you down, I am Canadian and we are horrified but life goes on regardless of this terrible incident.

After Sept 11 I lost sleep for several nights. Just have to resolve that all the terrible things and sorrow out there will not ruin you, too. I can remember wondering how the world would go on with this vast, deep hurt everywhere on TV and in the papers. And, it did.

  2. Are you talking about "American Psycho" with Christian Bale. How can you be scared from that movie, it was hilarious, I love that movie.

  3. Watch funny vids on the internet and think about being someone cool in the future, your mind will be taken off of that.

  4. Watch the Wedding Singer, it's funny, and it will get you a little distracted.

  5. I know which story you're talking about. But know that that person is behind bars. There are a lot of scary things out there, but there are many wonderful things too! Focus on those. Tranquil scenes of nature ae good distractions~ help set your mind at ease. Don't worry so much about all that negative stuff. Get into something beautiful and relaxing.
