I heard a while a go but is it true that mexican police replaced guns with sligshots????

Pretty soon they'll be forced to use vulgar language or taunting.  Mexico needs to clean up.  The police are corrupt, the people are corrupt.  I feel bad for the citizens who live there.  They try to cross the border and have to deal with us who don't want them there.  

Once they get their oil up and going well, I'm sure a lot of countries are going to be their best friend.  They'll have their guns back.

That's correct, and they also replaced squad cars with ride-on lawn mowers.

Actually, yes according to a news report. Due to the corruption on some border towns, the Mexican military moved in and disarmed the police. I remember seeing a news article when it originally happened. As with so many things, I haven't seen a follow up, so I have no idea how long it lasted or even how widespread it was.
