I heard from a reliable news source that a lot of people are giving head...?

...lice to one another, especially in schools. This was on CNN. Is this a common plague? I've never had it and don't think I know anyone that has (that I know of anyway). It sounds hideous.

Anyone here ever had it? And you clicked on this question why?

I clicked on the question because I wanted to see which news outfit would be allowed to report on head activity. And no, I've never had head lice.

Head lice is why the ancient Egyprtians shaved their heads and wore wigs. It's been a human bane since there were humans. I had it once, the whole floor of the dormitory had it.  We were all treated. Someone brought it in and it passed through the floor rather quickly. And it was the basketball team floor, too. Even the cheerleaders had to get treated and that sorority was P O'd.

yeah I admit to wanting to read about head, I'm a normal guy.  But seriously, head lice are nasty.  I was checked for it twice when somebody brought them into school but I was never infested.  Everyone who had it had to use this stuff called Quell to kill them and it had to be in long enough to kill the eggs too, it was horrible for the kids who had them.  So, yeah they are hideous.
