  1. Yes i read an article today and it said $5.00 a gallon by the 4th of July unless Bush starts anouther war then it would atleast triple the price of gas.

  2. Perhaps rising gas prices are a scam to try to stop people driving as much thereby reducing greenhouse emissions? Just a thought...

  3. i have seen the $10 headline... not a good thing....especially since ole Bush has done nothing to resolve the problem,...... except travel to the Saudis and get told to pound sand......

the $5 by July is realistic... the price of a gallon of gas at the pump has not risen to reflect the cost per barrel price high mark....

  4. $5, by the 4th?  Possibly.  Definitely might in some places (e.g. Hawaii, San Francisco).  $10 by the end of the year, no.  It won't get that bad that quick, thank goodness.

  5. yes that's what the are predicting it to be at,who knows though they have been wrong in the past, lets hope the are very wrong on this one,5 buck is way to much to pay ,but that's the rumor that's going around on it,lets hope it don't do that, good luck.

  6. Heard the same thing. At the rate oil has been raising in price, I can see $5.00 and also $10.00. Good grief.

  7. holy c**p i hope not!!!

  8. probably, it is already 4.59 for 87 in ventura CA and it gets higher and higher each day. we don't have much to go, we probably will be over $5 well before the 4th.

  9. Yep, things like that are getting said, but then again with the market the way it is right now, it could do anything.

Let this be a lesson, start learning to conserve now.

  10. Yes, I heard that..its already 4.18 here and the local news said it could be close to 8 dollars by the end of summer....also the lock in price for heating oil is 4.37 right now.....crazy!!!!!!!!!
