A Jukebox? They had them in diners, soda shops, and the like.

I don't recall pay radio, but there was the juke box, you dropped a quarter in a slot and it played a record.

~It wasn't a radio, it was a juke box.   It didn't cost a quarter, it was a nickel.  For a dime, you got three songs.  Unless you were the Fonz, in which case you just hit the sucker and it sang.
