Question:

I heard it on a radio that there were making a car with a hundred miles per gallon. is that true?

  1. They already had made a few.

    VW made one, GM made one, I think honda made one too.

    But they are not in production yet. Still testing on ways to make the car cheaper so people can afford them.

    They don't save you money unless they are cheap to buy too.

    Honda Fit saves you much more money then Toyota Prius.

  3. It's called the Progressive Automotive X Prize. All the cars competing in it may become future models and are expected to get over 100 miles per gallon and meet strict CO2 emission standards.

  4. The Aptera gets a minimum of 120mpg on a trip of over 600 miles. It can run straight electric if commuting from home less than 60 miles.  

  5. people have made cars that get over 150mpg or more (ex. solar powered cars) and well the problem is most of them aren't safe and are very expensive and have no room what so ever.
