  1. They don't have any water to spare right now.  Lack of rain has caused the lake water levels to drop drastically this year.

    I seem to remember hearing something about this.  I really don't think it's very practical.


  2. If GW is getting "so bad" the country will soon be under water anyway, so what's the point?

  3. I don't know if it's true or not but it's a great idea. The southeast is also getting bad. With GW getting so bad and the sea level due to rise I think the government needs to look for ways to funnel this water through some pipelines and use it for energy as well.

  4. If it were true, it would be quite the boondoggle. Just what we need to remove the limiting factor in southwestern development. It would be great for the SW real estate developers and bad for the NE.
