I'm sure I heard it this morning on a local radio station but no one else seems to have heard anything. Am I going nuts?

  1. Yep cause that won't happen ever.

With record companies trying to bleed even radio and I-Tunes for more money, they will never give away their product for free unless they using the freebie as a promotion to get you to buy a cd or some artists have started to offer their Cds for free for a donation of what people think it's worth (average so far has been about $5 last I heard)

The radio station may have something going on however as a promotion that they advertise as free or was gaming everyone today...never know

  2. If you aren;t paying for it you are stealing it.

  3. yes, i agree with the posting above, if you heard it on the news today or yesterday they were talking about a new company called Qtrax, which claims to offer free and legal music downloads

  4. They were probably referring to this new website called Qtrax

    http://www.qtrax.com/

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22861941/

However they have postponed it now because they are about to get sued by the record industry.
