  1. Not really. A good deal of the wealth is locked in imaginary assets like stocks or in business assets. The wealth that matters for the masses is in the form of consumer products and services and as the above poster said, could be in the order of 8K a year but i bet is far lower.

Look at it form this point of view: It doesnt matter who owns the means of production, but who gets the production!

  2. Just  try it on  and  see the  results.....................

  3. May be it is true.

But the peace may cost more than a billion.

  4. yah, it would be more per average

  5. In the world?

    According to CIA World Factbook,

GWP (gross world product) = $51.41 trillion in 2003.

    World Population = 6.269 billion in 2003

    GWP per capita = $8,200 in 2003

Thus, this would have been the annual income of each person in the world, if the resources had been distributed equally.

  6. Total world wealth:

    $125 T

    World population:

    6,708,574,177

    125,000,000,000,000/6,708,574,177 = $18632.17

    So no, that's not true.

Even in the United States, per capita wealth is $144000
