    A bacterial infection needs an antibiotic drop.

    A viral infection needs time to clear up, as antibiotic drops don't work for a viral infection.

    A tea bag may help alleviate inflammation and discomfort I suppose...something in the tea I guess...warm compresses also help with discomfort.

    Some people are tea freaks though...they think that EVERYTHING can be cured with a little herbal tea.
