Yes.they do....lots of stuff...the girl above me is wrong...and nowadays the Pearlies are very multicultural...there are Asian, African and even Muslim Pearlies!

Yes, they still do a lot of work for charity.

When I was a kid I met a Pearly King and Queen in London. They were such sweet, kind people. And their hand-made costumes were fantastic.

Yes they do. I think they're rather sinister looking characters though. They frightened the cr*p out of me in cartoon form, when my parents traumatised me by taking me to that dog torture movie, 101 Dalmations.
