  1. nope it wont it might just have adverse reaction towrds ur liver

  2. no... but  you will get blasted and maybe toss your cookies.

blind in  the drinking terms actually means you get super stupid and pass out.

    that's about it.

but do watch what you mix,  enjoy your drink don't make yourself sick.

  3. You are partly correctly.

The normal alcohols that we drink are all ethanol, they would not make you blind, at most drunk. So, even if you mix brands of alcohols together, I suppose it would not make you blind, though I am not sure about other side effects. However, methanol, another kind of alcohol that is commonly used in industry, can really cause blindness upon consumption.

I know this because my chemistry teacher taught us this when we learnt organic chemistry. :)))))))))

  4. You won't go blind from mixing different drinking alcohols. What the person probably meant to say was that if you drink rubbing alcohol you will go blind. Don't EVER drink alcohol that is not meant to be drank! It is so dangerous.

Even a shot of rubbing alcohol can kill you. It will go down your throat, burning everything on the way down and has the potential to blind you. I was in high school with a guy that did that. He was in the hospital for weeks, lost his baseball scholarship because he never recovered.

    Just throwing it out there.

But mixing a bunch of different kinds of booze is gross anyway. It would taste much better and get you drunk at the same rate as drinking them individually. Just remember: Beer before liquor gets you sick quicker. Liquor before beer, you're in the clear.

  5. Assuming you're referring to drinking alcohol (ethanol, the kind of alcohol in beer, wine, and hard liquor) then no, it's not true.

However, if we're talking about all sorts of alcohol, as opposed to just ethyl alcohol, then yes, you can go blind (or worse, die).  This is why you don't drink wood alcohol, rubbing alcohol, etc.  That stuff is highly poisonous.

So to answer your question, yes, if you mix different sorts of alcohol together, it can make you go blind.  However, this won't happen if you're only mixing tequila, beer, wine, etc.

  6. Not.  Alcohol is alcohol.  It doesn't matter what brand or what type it is.  The issue of mixing different types of alcohol is a myth.  There is nothing in the alcohol that is different from brand to brand, or type of spirits to type.  The difference is all in the additives, the things that give it color and flavor.  These things may contribute to hangovers, but they will not make you blind.

In the early 20th century, there was a drink called absynth that was outlawed because it was said to make you blind, but that was because of impurities in its manufacture.  If you are drinking commercial alcohol you have nothing to worry about in terms of blindness.  Just don't overdo it in terms of volume.
