thats incorrect

ur not even meant to leavw a child under the age of 12 alone

14-15 is the youngest

though make sure they are sensible, and 14 being nearly 15

i am a babysittter and i am 15 and this summe ri am getting a first aid course

I think the laws are different about staying home alone at a certain age.

its really wat u feel, if u think an 11 yr old is responsible enough then go for it, but also depends on the age of the child being watched.. obviously you wuld want some one older for a newborn.... but a 2 yr old that wub be fine..

An 11 year old is old enough to be left at home, but I wouldn't hire one to babysit, nor would I let my daughter babysit when she was 11. While 11 year olds make wonderful mothers helpers, most lack the judgment required in an emergency situation.

I babysat my brother and sister when I was eleven.  However, my mother had no other options.  We were very poor and she and my father had to work long hours.  But, for the most part I would say no.  Most eleven year-olds are still babies themselves.
