  1. Ouija Board was retired at the end of 2006 the day before what would be her last race due to triggering an old leg injury.

she was covered in feb 2007 by Lanes End top stallion Kingmambo and confirmed in foal, the foal is thought to be a a colt and is actually due very soon.

    hope i helped :)

  2. She's a lot better off retired than she would have been had she continued to race. Now Ouija Board can go and lead a life of relative ease and contentment as a broodmare- I am sure that she will have her first foal this spring, in fact. If the owners of another mare, Rags to Riches, are smart, they will do the same thing and retire HER this winter, and send her to the breeding shed in April or May this year for a 2009 foal. That's the life of a racehorse, at least in this era.

  3. yep, Ouija Board was retired.  It was a while ago actually.  It happened at the beginning of December 2006... she got a leg problem, so they scratched her from her race and retired her.   Here's the article for that story: http://www.ntra.com/content.aspx?type=ne... (that story has a video too)

and here's the link to the NTRA bio about her:

She was quite a talented horse... I'm sorry she's not racing anymore...
