Yeah he ran the World famous 'Musclemen Have Little Willies' gym on Westgate Road in the mid 70's.

I remeber that he did train in a gym in West Ham whilst preparing for the Mr Universe competitions in the late 60s and 70s,  but that's all I know- why not try reading one of his autobiographies/ biographies?
