No, they were U.S. Olympic teammates back in 2000.  Lacy boxed in the middleweight class, but failed to win a medal.  Taylor boxed in the junior middleweight class and won the bronze medal.  However, it is rumored that they may fight each other next as pros since Lacy just won last night (barely) on Wednesday Night Fights, and Taylor has stated that he would like to move up to the super middleweight division, which is where Lacy currently is.

He never fought against Taylor in the ameteurs but they did go to the olympics together in 2000, and lacy did beat Jerson Ravelo and Randy Griffin.  Jermain went to the gold medal fight by beating middleweight champion Felix Sturm from germany.  but him and lacy never fought.
