  1. Are you talking about Nimbru?

  2. yup, it happens every year at this time.

(you didnt SERIOUSLY believe that, did you?)

take a look at how close the Earth (the + in the circle) is to Jupiter ( the 2 and 4 symbol kinda squiggled together)

Jupiter is only 4.2 AU from the Earth right now and since Jove only has a 4.95 AU perihelion, you can see that its nearly as close to us as it can get. (4.95 - 1.00 = 3.95AU or so)

    4.20- 3.95 = .25 AU (x93million miles/AU) = 23 million miles from Jupiter's closest approach

  3. No.  The orbits of the planets are exceedingly stable.  I have read an article that suggests that during the accretion the planetary orbits were not as fixed as they are currently and that planetary positions may have changed a few times.  I confess I did not read the article that deeply but the authors did seem to be rational.  Always a desirable condition for a scientific paper!!  But the tail end of the accretion ended a bit over 4 billion years ago and if the planets were ever changing their orbits, they've stopped.  Jupiter is considered one of the reasons why life is possible on Earth.  Its gravitation attracts most of the stuff that might otherwise turn our planet into a ball of molten lava.  In case you were wondering, that would be BAD.

Jupiter is not going to make the Earth explode.  Its staying where it is.  And repeat after me:  Jupiter is GOOD.

  4. We don't know- did you hear that?

  5. It's not true. The major planets have been in stable orbits for billions of years and there's no reason why that should change for billions more.

  6. Where'd you hear that? I don't think that's true.

  7. No. It is a complete nonsense. Earth is in resonance with Jupiter, so both stabilize their orbits.

  8. oh man! its not the jupiter! its a myth about planet Nibiru(planet X)...for more info, watch this, you won't regret it:

  9. No.  Jupiter's orbit has not changed in any significant way.  Neither has the Earth's orbit.

But Jupiter is currently about as close as it gets - it's at opposition.  That means that the Sun, the Earth and Jupiter are more or less lined up.  So Jupiter rises near sunset, and stays up all night.

  10. yes, because due to high humidity and attraction towards earth

  11. for me,its a false statement, since each planets in the solar sytem are located in its own axis, and besides, Jupiter is quite far from the earth.another thing is: the Earth is located at the inner part  or inner layer rather of the outher space, while the Jupiter is located at the outer layer, and their are boundaries between inner and outer layer of the solar system.

  12. even if it was coming towards earth its gravity would only pull us towards it and wed land on jupiter like a comit hits earth no explosions would be going on
