yeah.. the broadcast of the wwe at mynetworktv will start at october with the airing of wrestlemania IV..

Reason:

The CW chose not to renew their contact with the WWE to keep SmackDown on that channel because they believed that the network was not gaining any crossover viewership from the WWE SmackDown audience, i.e. they watched SmackDown & no other show on the network.

The CW also has been having a shift of focus as of late. Their lineup reflect a stronger female demographic, & while SmackDown is also female oriented its more catered to men.

After months of negotiation MyNetworkTV was selected as SmackDown's new home. This actually happened a while ago but as the time for the switch draws nearer it is expected to be aired more and more, much like the RAW switch from USA to at the time TNN.

Technically, they were not cancelled from the WB: WWE pulled out and did not want to resign with them.

yeah on october 3rd SD! will be on the my network tv channel... if you watch my network tv then you will see a commercial with a few wrestlers like promoting it!
